What a night on the River
Live lined mackeral last night in the river from 9 to 1130 and had none stop action all in the same spot. Missed my share of fish with swings and misses but managed 10 fish or so with 6 of them between 28 and 35", released them all.
The mackeral fishing is picking up outside the river. Got a couple small keeper cod too under the macs.

Live linin macks in that spot is by far my favoritiest fishing. Run outside, fill the live well, and head back in to drift em. Is amazing to see 18 inch horse macks come flyin outta the water with a big arse bass behind it.
After goin in the drink there 2 years ago though, I still have nightmares about that spot.

Sounds Like Fun
John,
I hope you saved a few for me, we will start chasing bass after painting the bottom and doing a few things to the boat. I am glad to see you took advantage of the weather as it looks like a rough one ahead for a while.
