Pug-nose bass?
I caught a small striper this weekend that looked exactly like the mount of the striper that is always at the MSBA show along with Cinto's 70 with no upper jaw, a rounded skull, and pug like eyes. I'm kicking myself for not having a camera with me. Does anyone have any info on these guys. I'm assuming its a genetic mutation but how rare is it? Have any of you guys ever caught one? Do they ever get big? I was in a steady take of schoolies that were all really fat and this one was as thin as any fish I've seen which made me wonder how they survive.
