Lance Armstrong
How amazing is this guy anyway.......to win (7) straight Tour de Frances and beat cancer in the process......some say he is the greatest athlete of all time...not sure if I agree, but the simple fact that people are putting him in that class speaks wonders for what an amazing athlete he is.
Congrats Lance.....what a career..........

I watched the whole thing. The conditions these guys face the mental and physical aspects are amazing. I really am looking forward to next year because there is so many riders that could be the next Lance.

I don't think any of them had cancer, however.

All I can say is if you have not familiarized yourself with this guy, you need to. he is amazing! his accomplishments are akin to having a seven 50# bass year. Having fended off cancer I am here to tell you this guy is an animal

He is a real hero in my view. To have a Texan beat those French Euro-Snobs on their own turf (year after year) is just plain schweet! This guy just mops them up going up hill...he is a machine.

While he is an amazing athlete, he could have never done it without his team.
Yes, the tour is a team sport. (other than the individual time trials)
Also, to hell with cheryl crow, he ditched his wife that stood by him while he fought cancer. Thats the only thing that pisses me off about him.
