Sounds Like....

Sounds like I'm not missing out on much this season.

This has been the worst season for me in about 2 decades. ...then again I've only fished about a dozen times this year...I didn't even wet a line until mid June (I think) . I thought I could go out on the water and just relax a bit from my on-going roller coaster ride this year, but I was sadly mistaken. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people who can just liesurely wet a line when time allows, it's like a virus..once I'm infected, the need to fish just intensifies...That first trip turned into 4 days straight and I realized that I could not play both sides of the fence as my projects started taking the "back-seat" to the fishing...so I hung the rod back up. I need to keep my "projects" going until their completed...I give praise to those who can take on LARGE projects and are still able to fish faithfully. Don't get me wrong, I will still stagger out from time to time this fall, but it will be with a different mind-set, as my mind is in over-drive just about everyday...but enough of that -

I really just wanted to say "HELLO" to those who I haven't seen on the ROX lately, and THANK those who have extended invites to join them as I sadly declined. And lastly, give my regards to those who have gone through some tough and trying times this year....I didn't lose interest by ANY means, I just need to get things back in some kind of order. Right now I'm still a mess...

I've still been lurking the site and I have to admit, over-all.. by reading the threads, it's been a tough season thus far. It doesn't seem like there's much going on....I know there are those who are ALWAYS catching LARGE,,which always makes me laugh , but I think we need those guys around for amusement or envy...depends on what you believe I guess, so don't get discouraged if your not catching "Large". As far as the fishing goes, there ARE ALWAYS fish around, it depends on what size your targeting...For those of you looking for ANY kind of action, walk or ride the Canal while stopping at the Bendz, you'll find fish...small, but fish none-the-less. "Time" on the water is the ABSOLUTE key...then there's the "luck" , then comes the skill. Yep, that's the order in which it all happens...Bottom Line: Fish confidently, and you'll catch fish.

Again, just wanted to chime in and say...."Hello"..."Thank You"....and "my sincerest regards".

Hey, good to hear from ya, Bloo

The season's been okay for me hereabouts, but not spectacular. The tog bite from shore ended with a bang for me with a 10.6 on 12# - that was a thriller - and the bass bite is finally improving a little...

Listen, do what ya gotta do - take care of business, the casa and the lovely Mrs 'Crab -

It ain't over by a long shot

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Hi bloocrab
how's all the madness holding together?
need any help?
Milo knows where the fish are.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Wanna come try make Clammer pee his pants again? (you know where, same, same)
Gotta say I am not getting out at night this year, but still having a good solid year.
