Good luck finding them, that's all I can say , because I haven't seen a large adult bunker in Mass Bay in so long it's sad.

J/J18 there is always a few in the Tauton River very early in the spring, and them New England Power, some are here before the fish are in , But the last few years there has been a couple of descent schools around on your side [MT Hope Bay]/// and guys have caught fish while the pogy boat from Fall River cleans them out ,before they move their boat to NJ waters////
If I had a quicker boat I<D run over for a couple of tries, but its a long ride in my tug/////////// later

There are small schools of peanut bunker. They around from mid september to mid november. I haven't seen any adult bunker last year but the year before guys were snagging them in the blackstone in pawtucket. So there are some around in narraganset bay. Not many though Your best bet in Rhody for finding Adult bunker is in may but you really gotta search for them.
Good luck!

In the trollers!
You will find the bunker in the commercial fishing vessels, holding tanks, after they sweep up everything!!! Some of these massive trollers are operating right off our beaches......
