Pics from Pulaski

Hey guys. I generally don't post pics but I thought some of these were cool and show a different type of fishing I got to experience last weekend. Those salmon are alot of fun on light tackle.

It looks like the bottom of the run right above the ball park to me.

The fourth pic, was actually right above the little black hole near where you cross to get down towards the Douglas part. Its obvious you guys have been there before.

its not so much the line strength as it is the placement of the knots that makes that line work so well . the knots makes it drift properly .

Nice Fish . wish I still had the patience to fish in a crowd .

I'll never forget the first big king I hooked. I had had a bunch of snags, thought I had another one, pointed my rod at it to snap it off started to pull and it took off upstream at 25mph. Another guy caught that one with my fly still in it's jaw in the next pool it was 30 pounds.
I usually fish there with a friend of mine who has fished the same hole for the last twenty years, he knows all the guys who fish that area and they don't put up with people who don't want to have fun fishing. He is probably in the river right now.

After i typed that i realized how foolish a statement that is being as I haven't been up there in 10 yrs.it could be any number of spots. But i still believe I'm right. There just enough ledge for his friend to stand where he is to get the pic then its bye bye.it's the very last piece of land to stand on before ur in douglastown.Plicks.theres a great(bluff) wall of natural stone behind the pic taker very cool spot.
