You guys helped me get a nice fish this AM.

Wish I could remember who to thank. I read a thread this winter that was talking about fighting large fish in rocky areas and I think it was one of our RI friends that had mentioned opening the bail when a fish got hung up and it may move off and not snap you off.

I've been fishing rocks so that kinda stuck with me.

So this am I'm fishing and I've got a nice fish on, and it's most of the way in when the line gets too tight and its like a piano string going tink tink tink as the fish rubs it against a rock.

I dropped the tip and threw it into free spool for a couple of secs, and the fish moved off the rock. I landed it a few minutes later, 41" and the leader snapped as I was pulling it up into the rocks. Almost another one of those stories about the one that got away.

Thanks again, you guys have helped me a ton!
