He'd love it if he really looked like Robert Shaw (Quint) then maybe some of the hooter's girls would pay some attention to him.

I only met him briefly in the exercise room after the TCTFFN this year, and as nearly as I could define the man, I thought he was a combination of : 1 part Sgt Schultz, 1 part Ernest Hemingway, and 1 part Mr. French.

Damn straight, I'm going to keep that tuna I'll never catch from the beach.
Sure, some will scoff, "Hypothetical poachers - they're the worst."
Let them talk - I'm willing to pay the price in friends I'll never make and good times I'll never have with people who never liked me beforehand.

Brimley's my vote...Mike's way too super nice to be Quint!
Hopefully I'll get to fish with him someday, not just talk about it on icy February nights.
PS- Anybody see SOL's got their own version of the TFCTFN now, called the Food Fight!
Can't be no good catering without the Bombas!
Well at least without me. Me and Mikey been in the cvatering business since 89, he used to clean tables for me back then and drink all the grenades!!!
Mom could never figure out why he came home from work all funny, took me till 92 to figure it out!!!
Later,
Rick

Err.....that post above was in the wrong thread....Too bad - it was pretty witty, but not out of context.
Clammer? Ahh he's pretty close a ringer for Quint.
"It does prove one thing Mr. Hooper. It proves you rich college boys don't have education enough to admit when you're wrong. Don't tell me my business again."
