Just like Dirty Dancing.......
because, I had the time of my life........
Fished a new spot this weekend for me in Rhode Island, thnx to a few pm's from great guys on S-B...
Sunday morning sunrise, standing on a rock out of history. Feeling nostalgic when i first walked out, I stopped before casting and thought about what this spot has seen. Literally the hairs on my arms were standing on end. I took a deep breath to relax a little and sent out my first cast, WHAM, fish on.
Nice 33"er. I continue to cast for about an hour and a half. 12 keepers all from 30" up to and including the final fish, a beautiful 40"...All on top water, I had a ton of follows and tail slaps as well, it was my best morning I can remember as a Surfcaster.....Thnx S-B....
.
.
.
p.s. Don aka Afterhours, I NEED more creamsicles... Spook Jr, the best plug in my bag.
I'll get the pics up when I get them...

Good job, dude. It's great to hear when people are excited about what they catch.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

I'll never forget driving along that shore telling my wife how I need to come back and fish it, and then we come around a corner and there you are holding that fish. You might as well have been laughing in my face!

Those moments are special for sure! I can remember one morning this Fall up this way, similar thing. It was one spot in the water. Throw the plug 10 feet either side, nothing.... That One Spot, it was like cordwood!
