Potential Nor'Easter early next week
Still very early, but with the astronomical high tides it could get interesting in some areas if this thing develops:

...WINTRY PRECIPITATION POSSIBLE ACROSS THE INTERIOR ON SUNDAY
FOLLOWED BY THE POTENTIAL FOR A STRONG COASTAL STORM LATE MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY NIGHT...
AN INITIAL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES ON
SUNDAY...AS A SECONDARY STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPS ALONG THE SOUTH COAST
OF NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY NIGHT. THIS WILL BRING A PERIOD OF RAIN TO
MUCH OF THE COASTAL PLAIN SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
HOWEVER...ACROSS PARTS OF THE INTERIOR THE PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY
BE A MIXTURE OF RAIN...SNOW AND SLEET. MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
POSSIBLE...MAINLY NORTH OF ROUTE 2.
THIS FIRST STORM WILL EXIT THE REGION EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
HOWEVER...PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW...FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET WILL STILL
BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE INTERIOR MONDAY AND MONDAY EVENING...WITH A
BIT OF LIGHT RAIN POSSIBLE ON THE COAST.
THEN THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A STRONG COASTAL STORM LATE MONDAY
NIGHT...POSSIBLY CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. THIS STORM WILL
BRING THE POSSIBILITY FOR HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...BUT IT STILL
REMAINS UNCERTAIN WHERE EXACTLY THE RAIN SNOW LINE WILL SETUP.
IN ADDITION...TIDES ARE ASTRONOMICALLY HIGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. WITH
STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS EXPECTED...THE POTENTIAL FOR COASTAL FLOODING
EXISTS DURING MULTIPLE HIGH TIDE CYCLES TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.
BEACH EROSION MAY ALSO AFFECT THE COAST.
THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE SEAS IN EXCESS OF 15 FEET
OVER THE OPEN WATERS ON TUESDAY WITH STORM FORCE WINDS GUSTS. THIS
IS POTENTIALLY A DANGEROUS SITUATION FOR ANY MARINERS SO PLEASE STAY
TUNED FOR LATER FORECASTS.

If we don't get a few more good storms before the winter is over,
I may have to more working than I want instead of spending all my time on my boat!!!

I remember a scoping I had a few years ago. Doc has the scope up tooling around as I lay on my side facing the wall. Doc says " Open your mouth" I follow instructions....He then says " When you see the light on the wall I'm done"

I like it when they are wrong like this. Personally I hope to not have to start the snowblower again this winter. Only had to use it once so far. Come on spring
