A one bullet salute for Barney Fife? Don Knotts dead at 81. Went to high school with my Dad in Morgantown, WVA. Funny as hell second banana to Andy Griffith. Thanks for the laughs , Barn....

What a great and funny man! He finally got his star on Hollywoods walk of fame just a couple (2?) years ago....can you believe that? People like Brittany Spears gets one for doing practically nothing!!! That pisses me off! 
I loved all of his movies and watched them all dozens of times....The Reluctant Astronaut, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken....classic comedy movies and of course....who here can forget The Incredible Mr. Limpet!Swim where ever you want now!  RIP Barney Fife  |
