My afternoon
I spent the better part of the afternoon cleaning out my boat, every thing that could come out, came out!
Gave it a washing to wash of what was on it from the winter!
I made a punch list of all the things that need fixing or replacing and just things I want to upgrade
Going to spend the next few weeks fixing things, replacing things,
buffing and waxing ( I think I should round up any boat hoes that I know who know how to run a buffer !!! )
And hope to be back in the water before the month is over !
Just hopefully the weather will continue to keep getting warmer

I hope I did not burn any dogfish spots here
seriously Ron, you still have your live well out on your swim platform??
I'm thinking of moving my live-well out there.

Still have it out there, though I have had a (3 year) plan in place for it below deck, but haven'e worked out all the details and haven't made the time.
I may build a new white one in the very least this year so I don't have the blue colored one out there

Frank, you should get a look at mine, I put it on the deck in front of the splashwell, and even though I got a 21' theres still room to fish. Its oval 40 gal. pumped through with an 1100 gph at the bottom, and just overflows into the splash well. That placement does not effect the ride.

Van, how did you secure your tank ??
I have my tank in the same spot but it's right on the hatch to the bilge. So I have to move the tank all the time.
The boat has a 15 Gal. livewell under the seat behind the big livewell(40-45gal.) the big livewell drains into the small livewell then out..
each tank has it's own pump.
do yaa think I fish with live bait much
Anyone use the non skip pad ??
Do they work??

HEY,,, I KNOW WHERE THAT 55 gal TANK CAME FROM !!!!
My tank is low profile, and all I did was use a sheet of thin neoprene I got at work as an (antiskid). Once it has 40 gals of water in it, it don't move no matter what. But it does block the bildge hatch. Still I can get to the bildge through the slashwell hatch if I have to. I posted a pic and you can kind of see it behind me, thats the best pic I have of it (O wow there is a fish in that pic too). I run the feed through one of the rod holder holes near the transom with a 1" plastic ball valve run the hose along the edge of the floor between the gunnel and splashwell to the bottom of the tank, with a 90 so the water circulates, and two overflows into the splashwell.
