Stripers in the Canal?

I've been getting Stripers in the CT River but was wondering if any Stripes are showing up further north yet....

Any Macks?

Tom,

Heard some unconfirmed reports of spotty Macs in our area. I do not doubt it they should be spotty now and in full force by the 15-17th.

Numerous keepers have been taken in the canal this year. I caught my first keeper at the canal two weeks ago at the run on a mambo minnow.

Yesterday I launched the skiff. Found macks from gurnet to high pines. Picked up squid also. Never saw squid like that before in my 40 years on the water in Cape Cod Bay.
