Whose the wise guy?
When I got back to the parking lot. I have a pile of sand on my hood and an eel impailed on my antenna. My brother leaves his car somewhere and when he gets back, he has a gorgeous pencil popper hanging off of his door handle. What gives?? I think the popper came from Back Beach Jake. But who's the prankster that hit me???

The eel on the antenna should be a dead giveaway. Its a trademark move.

It's not the bait

It's the fishing hole

Popper, guilty as charged.
Eels and sand, not my style.

Mikey - how's the vacation so far? I headed over to the Race Pt area last night from 630 - 8pm, only boat out there the whole time. Chasing crashing birds working bait being pushed up by giant blues with some bass mixed in. Rollers started getting too big and headed back to east end of canal, a long and bumpy journey.

Hey Mikey - could you possibly post pictures of said act? Perhaps digital evidence will help us discover the, err, delinquent.
(I actually thought it might be retribution from your brother for the "Sand Eel Under The Nose" episode of s few years ago

Fishing kind of sucked. Had a decent blitz with my dad the first morning with bass knocking squid up on to the beach. We each landed 3 to 20#s on top. After that nothing accept little fish in the wash. My camera is messed so no pics this year. Sorry. Oh yeah, nice plug Fred, Ricky sends his thanks from the Cape.
