I have tons of wooden plugs. For the money it is tough to beat Super Strikes product.I love there bottles with the way gibbs product is,it's the only game in town.plus i love them little bullets Joe has some cool colors i did not have an could not live without.I just made my second order for the fall run from Joe.100 bucks saves me the shiping an I basically get a free lure if u add in no state sales tax....
Now if the bunker would come back to NJ I would really be happy.

Transparent Amber Bullets are really good...My favorite SS patterns are Transparent Amber, Green/White, and the Neon Green over white.
Last week, I was fishing Jamestown two nights in a row. On night one, I went through my whole bag trying different stuff to raise fish - I finally hit upon the green/white needle and had some action on that until the tide died.
The next night I showed up with the needle on and ready, and a much smaller bag of tricks - and got fish after fish on the green/white needle. I should have brought two though because I ended up losing it when a fish got me around a rock.
This time of year, when the coves fill with spearing, those Super Strike needles and bullets rock.

Chartreuse/White has been a big-time Block Island pattern since the way-back-when, as a night plug though.....
Needles are coming back as a weapon of choice on Block - not that they ever really fell out of favor - but in the last several years there has been a resurgance of the bigger sand eels.
I've done some sight fishing with the bullet from shore. In late June, on days when the water is clear, you can get on one of those big rocks on the south side and you got a bird's-eye view - cool stuff. You could do it with other plugs too, of course.
