Are you in a boat , kayak, or foot? those bars are very tide dependant

Do a google map search and put in Fawns bar, then find the point, wade out as far as you can and cast to either side of the bar, they made a walking trail a few years back so access will not be a problem. you sould be able to see the sea wall in Winthrop on the left, and there maybe others out there if it is after work I beleive mid out going is your best bet

If your on foot you can walk the entire Island. A cart would help if you have multiple rods and chunking. A rod and plug bag is the best way to fish Deer Island. Waders not needed as you can cast from rock banks that are all over the island. If you plan on fishing the old jetty that starts to show 3 hours after high tide wear korkers. Plenty of parking that is well lit. If you see the kayakers on the bar or rip say hello.
