Plug Night IV.. So who is coming?

MSBA will be holding "Plug Night 4" at its monthly meeting Wednesday August 23 at the Viking Club at 410 Quincy Avenue in Braintree. It kicks off at 7:00 pm with lots to see and lots to buy.....there will be a very brief business meeting for the club that begins at 7:30 and afterwards the evening will kick into high gear with a long intermission for socializing, seeing all that will be there and purchasing those plugs that you have been wanting! There will be antique plug collections on display as well as custom wood! There will be a Charity Raffle table filled with plugs with all proceeds to benefit the Jimmy Fund, specifically childrens cancer research..The proceeds will go to helping in the research of finding a cure, so please buy many tickets for the charity raffle and help the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber find a cure......Prizes for the charity raffle are as yet to be determined. If you wish to donate to the charity raffle table please contact me, anything and everything will be greatly appreciated. So please come one...come all to "Plug Night 4".....directions can be found at MSBA.net. See you all there!!
I am still working on the list of attendees, I will post more once more info is available...
Again, any and all help is greatly appreciated and all the proceeds will benefit the kids.
Here is a partial list of plug builders/vendors attending. I will be updating it as the list changes. In no particular order-

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& Lures
Point Jude Lures
NJTackle
AfterHours Lures
Al Gags Custom Lures
BigFish Bait
The Lonely Angler
Bliz Lures Inshore & Offshore Tackle
Surf Asylum Lures
"The Plug Project"
VineyardBlues -antique plug collection
Line Stretcher Tackle Company
Flaptial aka Steve S. displaying some vintage goodies
Habs

anyone wishing to be a vendor at Plug Night or with any questions, please contact me anglah1@yahoo.com

So, who thinks they will be coming? If I could go to just one meeting a year, this wood be the one! It is always a full house, so come by and check it out, you will not regret it!
Again this meeting is FREE, and open to the public...
So, will YOU be there?????

Will be there with the Plug Project in Tow

Also - if any of you plug builders do not have a plug in the Plug Project, feel free to bring a plug to get added to the collection These plugs will never be sold and will always remain with the project to go to club events like this as well as the annual fishing shows. This is a great showcase of builders from S-B and other sites and individuals!

Thanks,

John

I think "The Kid" is actually a 34 year old Midget Plug Ho that they dress up and take to events.

I will make it there for sure

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

No, you do not...But in my humble opinion everyone should belong to a club that fights so hard to keep access open for all anglers. $30 and the majority of that $ goes to keeping what we have before it is all lost...

This meeting is FREE, and open to all. So come one come all!

Ok Folks,

You think Plug Night 1, 2 or 3 were great nights, wait til you get a load of what we have installed for you this year.

1...Yes there will be displays of rare and antique plugs.
2...Yes there will be well over 10 custom and commercial Plug Builders selling and promoting their wears.
(Dont forget members get in early before the general public). Yes there will be some ehem...refreshments for the evening and the bartender will be ready to serve you. As if this is not enough.
3...We will have a special guest speaker talking about the world of plugs.
4...Let's throw in the drawing for round two of the "MSBA Neverending Raffle". Yep, ticket number 100 sold at the last meeting so we will be having a drawing for the Van Staal 150 Bailed reel.
5......We will wrap the night up by eliminating the MSBA Raffle Table and putting on a kick butt Raffle to benefit the Childrens Cancer Units of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The final prize on this raffle table will take this Plug Night to a NEW LEVEL.

THE FINAL PRIZE IN THE CHARITY RAFFLE WILL BE................................................ ........

1 PREFERRED PARKING PASS AND 2 TICKETS TO THE FIDELITY INVESTMENTS CLUBHOUSE & RED SEATS AT GILLETTE STADIUM ON SEPT 20TH TO EXPERIENCE

Nah, it is a come one come all. If I can ho a plug off some people great But it is not mandatory..
This is open to all, come and gawk at some amazing work. Drool over vintage wooden yum yums. Buy a few tickets for the charity raffle loaded with fish catching goodies benefiting Childrens Cancer Research to win some great pluggage or Stones tics. Not to mention getting to hang out with some good people who are great fisherpersons........
This is my favorite meeting of the year, and it is FREE!
