So should I pump the close to 150 gallons of premimum into the tank of my boat before heading down ???
It's on empty now, and would rather not trailer down with the extra 800-900 extra lbs !!!

Ron,
I fished falmouth last night and I checked the gas prices all the way down 28 as I was suprised they were so much higher. Gas was consistanly 25 cents a gallon more. Regular in plymouth yesterday was 2.59, over the bridge it was 2.85.

$2.79 for premium at the Shell (formerly Valero) at the corner of Perry Ave and Main Street in Buzzards Bay. Across the street from Leo's and just a little past Red Top. Worth the detour into BB.
That's today's price. Down 3 cents from yesterday. By tomorrow, it might be down to $2.75.
Like magic--you cross the Bourne Bridge and it's $2.81 a gallon for regular at the Citgo just past the rotary.

I just went and pumped 120 gals at a mobil near my house, and they are about 20cents higher than some stations in Walpole that I pass on the way to work and did the math,
I saved close to $80 from what I would have paid at the cheapest gas dock near me marina, and I pumped 93 octane instead of the 89 that they have at the Town river yacht club !

You guys may not want to pump anymore Citgo. It is owned by the
Venezuelan government that wants us all the die a horrible death.
Venezuela Dictator Vows To Bring Down U.S. Government
Venezuela government is sole owner of Citgo gasoline company
Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience : "Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."
The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world."
Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S.. And he is using our money to achieve his goal!
The Venezuela government, run by dictator Chavez, is the sole owner of Citgo gas company. Sales of products at Citgo stations send money back to Chavez to help him in his vow to bring down our government.
Take Action
Please decide that you will not be shopping at a Citgo station. Why should U.S. citizens who love freedom be finan cing a dictator who has vowed to take down our government?
Very important. Please forward this to your friends and family. Most of them don't know that Citgo is owned by the Venezuela government.
YOU CAN VERIFY THIS ON THE CITGO WEB PAGE.

just a few weeks ago (first week of September), Stop and Shop in Faunce Corner/South Dartmouth had regular (with discount card) for $2.619. I am sure it's come down since then.
I think premium is a $0.15 - $0.20 differential.

$2.59 for reg in Warwick. I run 89 in my Yamaha 90 4 stroke. Manual says it will run on 86(?) octane. It seems to me that I get better mileage and performance with 89.

a piece on the AM radio about cape gas prizes.. oil company guy was asked about cape prices.. he said, we set our wholesale gallon prize by zones, the cape falls into a high price zone
WTF .. I knew them yuppie bastage trophy homes would send the wrong message out...
lowest wholesale price for regular gas in the state, as of first of the week.. 1.70.. so at 2.32 retail, their doing pretty good, mark up wise....

Mid Cape Yarmouth was $2.79 for 87 today. Still much higer then the rest of the state!!
But started to come down a little, Must be the bad rep we are getting in the paper!
I have been luck anough to go off Cape the last 2 weeks and payed $2.61 and a week later I payed $2.50
But as for the boat I have been stuck paying Cape Cods big money!
