So I go canoeing with the Boy Scouts this past weekend on Friday. They need another truck to haul the gear so I say no Problem, thats why I got it.
We pull into a McDonalds parking lot because we notice that one of the canoes is loose. I park next to the Scoutmaster's truck and he climbs up on the bed of my truck to tie it down tighter. Looks good and tight now, He says to me "Are you ready" I say "Yep lets go"
I open My Door and Hop in the truck and before I Can close my door he takes off......and Catches my door with the canoe trailer and almost Rips it off the truck.
Now we both started parked with the cars off, he hops in and drives away because he's in a hurry AND he admits he didn't even look in the Mirror when he pulled out......yet the Insurance Company says the Accident is MY FAULT....WTF
Because my Door was open.
So now I guess I can just go around and clip doors at my hearts Content because it will always be the other guys fault.
I HATE Insurance Comanies.....I've been driving for 25 years and this is the 1st time I ever put in a claim....and I get hosed
