Skunked!

Trolled around PJ Light last evening, caught zippo, nada, nothing. Beautiful conditions out there, but no fish. Good news is the water temps have increased 3-4^ since Saturday, average was 53-54^.

The skunk is definitely the worst feeling. Its amazing what one fish can mean to you at the end of a bad day. Any fish.

I'm alot more tolerant when I'm eelin' for bigger fish because the mind set is a little different...

And I really just love being out on the water or the beach... BUT... I need a couple fish to play with or I'm cranky. Do we all know the prayer to the fish gods?

"Come on... just give me one fish, that's all I'm asking for...one fish and I'll be happy"

Hmmm I only know of one shop that sells the "special eels" and if you fish the Charlestown Breachway, you have to use these. It must be the special seasoning....lol...

Had a good outing yesterday morning. Three keepers in the 32-34" range, and about 20-25 bluefish small ones in the 5lb range. It was a good morning with almost non stop action...
