rhody trip help
i've got some time next week so i'm gonna trailer south a bit. i've never boat fished RI at all and could use some help w/ ramps, and some reccomendations on general vacinity to try. at this point in the season am i better off targeting nar bay, sakonnet, or bi sound area. i will be alone so launch sites that are solo friendly would help.thanks in advance and if anyone wants to fish let me know. also what area is considered soco? feel free to pm any sensitive info, it will be respected, thanks paul

There are two ramps on the great salt pond. One on the southern end, take 108 to the Galilee escape road to the end make a right and the ramp is on your right before you get to the bridge. The other is at the top of the salt pond. Take Rte 1 to the Salt Pond Road exit, follow Salt Pond Road almost to the end, the ramp will be on your left, a little past the Pt. Judith Yacht Club.

Think there were some spots 'mentioned' in OTW this past summer. Don't know how the article would relate to November fishing but there are a couple members who don't haul their boats who might chime in....

During the week at this time of year it could be tough. You might want to stop at Quaker Lane, which is on Rte 2 just off of Rte 4 on the way down. Or you can stop at any othr shop on the way. You'll go right by Maridee B&T on 108, but I don't know when they are open.
