Wild Day

Wnet fishing off of Prudence Island last Tueday. It was wet and wild with a stiff breeze pouring down the bay. Snapped my brand new Penn Jigmaster after getting the rig stuck in a rock pile. Managed to pull in one small keeper on a tube and worm off of Sandy Point. Anyways got a call on 16 about an overturned vessel off of bouy #9 with two folks in the water. Checked in with the Coasties and blasted up to Fort Weatherall at 42 knots. Got there just in time to see the Coast Guard and the Newport Habor Master saving the day. It was a couple sitting on a turtled catermaran. The mast of which appeared to be stuck in a underewater ledge. After this I figured I had seen and had enough bad luck. Called it a day. Buy the way Snug Harbor Marina where I brought the rod was very helpful in helping me with replacing it. Anyway lets all watch ourselves out there.
