Here are some strange fish . . .

. . . that I caught while snapper fishing a while back. On this day, the schoolies were hitting our kastmasters, the needlefish and what I think are these little Jack Creavalle. This pic as taken on a disposable camera so it is blurry but one can still make out the fish.

And please, do not fret, the schoolie was thrown back, I had waited until I hit for the cycle before snapping the shot, 4 different fish, one tiny Kastmaster, wild. I had gotten at least 4-5 more needlefish and a whole bunch of snappers and schoolies mixed in, such nice light tackle fishing in September.

I found a plug on the beach which had a baitfish(dead)impaled on a treble.I had no clue what it was till I showed it to a buddy who's surfcasted N.C.a lot.Jack Crevalle.Apparently, they swim within the schools of mullet.
And no!You can't have the plug back!
