This may be it

On Tuesday I go for a Job interview, and this type of job I have been hoping to get my whole life, it is at Mass General Hospital, 4 10 hr days a week. plus bennies. I have been jumping around from one scab plumbing Co. to the next with no room to grow. just getting used then thrown away when not needed anymore. And I am sick of it. and I can't let striper fishing ruin it for me I may start a 12 step program to curve my addiction

Wish me luck

Confidence

Before you go in...think about all the reasons why they might not hire someone like yourself...and be sure to have answers for every one.

Bon chance.

I don't really need the bennies, retirement would be nice.
I get everything I need from my wifes work, What I really
need is long term employment. I was wondering about the
pay it didn't say anything on the listing.

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes and advice.

Good luck with this, Bob! You know I'm pulling for you! I'd guess you'd fish even harder (if possible!) with the job security & peace of mind you'd have! I know for sure it's their loss if they don't stick the gaff in you immediately!

I know and I will miss it for sure, but long weekends are good to. I am sure glad I had the year I had, 2 weeks at Block Island, 2 long weekends at Cuttyhunk,1 week at Salisbury, 1 week in Truro, and 6 days a week for 2 months at Plum Island. wow now that I look at it I know where all my money went.

Forgot about the one day I spent with Luds and his friend Scott on BI in Sept.

Well it seems my resume spoke for it's self because I already had the job before I walked in, he basically went thru the job discription and Bennie's then said as long as I pass the 2nd interview with HR and pass the Medical and back round check I will start around the first of the year.

I was worried about the pay but it is doable.

I want to thank everyone for your support.

Well I have waited to long and I had to go and interview else where,
I talked to Mass General last week and he has not made his mind up as to who he was going to hire, I decided I can't wait any longer and I am now the newest employee at North Shore Mechanical Contractors. I start on the 8th of January

Congrats Bob on the new job. Looks like your 2007 is off to a great start. The new boss must of felt some good mojo......
