Like I need another Hobby.....
I needed a new schoolie rod for the upcoming season So I decided to pick up a couple of those Blanks Mike was selling and going to give building a rod a try.
Looking for any basic How-To's in this forum. Did the search thing but its hard to search on How because of the word size limitation on the search. Do you guys have any threads here that you use to get started on this.....remember I've never wrapped a rod in my life.......so Be Gentle
As always any help is Much Appreciated

There is a video out by Steve Petri. Great for the guy or gal just starting out. There are a few copies listed on E Bay. Type in "rod building"

building
Just about all the books I think give a pretty good idea of what you need to start with (most of which you probably have in your home already). At least for me the books put me in a place that, with a little knowledge, I knew the next question I wanted to ask.
