some poppers
I've been messing around with some topwater stuff lately.
I really like this shape, it has fishy silhouette to it.
These are 5 1/2" and right around 3 oz.
Now I gotta put em on steroids and try and get some closer to 4 oz for the canal..
How do you like that brush hair embedded in the epoxy on that orange one. Sucks to screw up on the last step...

And I had to try a pogie and a herring. Pogie could have used some more sanding. funny how I can't see that when its still on the lathe but as soon as you hit it with paint you sure see it just fine...

Like that shape a lot. I've been playing with something as well that has similarities. It's different but they almost seem like they could be related. I'm hoping to get some pictures up later.

Those look great, Really nice work...do they pop?
Smetimes poppers kind of "duck" dive under the water
and don't really make a lot of splashing. If they pop as
good as they look, you got a real winner!
