I feel your pain.
I was at the B's game Thurs.
Against Philly.
Pissed it away with 9 seconds left to go in OT.
Most shots faced by a B's goalie since 1965.

I predict some ugly games coming up.
B's,Rangers,Habs,Leafs,NJ.
All within 5 or 6 points of each other for the final spot in the East.
I have to see another B's vs. Habs this year.
Nothing like the Old Days but still worth the price of a ticket.
At least that game.

Hockey is in a very sad state now if you ask me !
It all started with Gretzky if you ask me!
He and Mario Lemieux bitched enough that the league and officials took contact out of the game!
I saw Bobby Orr fishing with Charlie Moore over the weekend and Bobby put it in a good way also
Saying,
When he was a kid, it was all about passion for the game, but today, the passion is not there for the game, only for the $$$

The worst part about that.....
Ever see Lemieux play?
I have. A few times. Before I gave up my season tix.
6'4" 230#
Not exactly a small player.
But the way it is now is they have to "protect the stars" of the game.
Word for word. Andy Brickley. Sunday night's B's game.
Started with Gretzky, now Crosby.
The "Next One" to bitch & whine.
I always thought that being able to take it and dish it back out was part of the game.
Guess not. Not now.
