Question

This is strictly a question, not a shamless plug hoing scheme.. But I was wondering, and believe me it took a long time to ask this, But would you guys /do you guys ever help to turn stuff for a guy who has no equipment to do so?

This very question has been asked in the past. There have been times when a builder would give a few blanks to a newbie.
The problem is; It is not only the "turning" that the newbie needs, it's all the paint and hardware as well.
Do you have the required hardware? Have you investigated buying "kits"?

I have everything, believe me this wasn't an attempt to score stuff, being fairly new at this. And able to make some halfway decent hand carves, I was curious as to how it went down. I don't want to step on anyones toes, or piss people off. That would be the last thing I would want to do to anyone on this board. I have picked up wealth of knowledge here and would like to remain in everyones good graces. I fought with myself to ask, I didn't want to be percieved as a mooch or anything.

If you don't have a lathe or access to one, I personally wouldn't mind tossing you a few turned bodies. Remember, bartering works well in the fishing world, especially when it involves plugs. What kind of bodies do you desire?

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Have you investigated night school woodworking courses? I've heard of guys who sign up and just use the machines to do their own thing.
