Good for Me but it's Me we're Talking About!

I've been out the last 2 mornings in my local bay and it has been pretty good. 1/2 a dozen schoolies in mid 20" range. A good angler(which I'm not) would probably have been bagging keepers in the schools I've been chasing. I saw balls of bait being pushed up on the shoals this morning with rolling stripers on the surface. It was a pretty cool site on flat calm water waters with little to no wind. I'm loving getting out so quick with my set up. it's so easy and has been cheap on gas. I can get the 15hp up to 20mph with 2 guys in the skiff with the right wind and tide direction. I've also had some very wet and rough rides going against everything. But overall I'm having a blast and learning a ton. I have managed to still get out on my rocks as well when the wind as been just too much too deal with. This year though my overall numbers are down. With all the pics of so many large fish being caught and the tuna you guys are catching it makes me feel like I'm a total rookie, which I'm not but man it's cool and depressing all in the same feeling. Anyone in my area that wants to possibly head out sometime don't hesitate to drop me a line. I have a couple of spots that I know the big fish are in it's just that I need to dial in on the lure/plug, etc. I know the live bait thing works well but it's not really an option for me. Oh well, I"LL BE BACK!
