New Nextell
New nextell hybrid phones are the bomb (IC502). First one ever I owned. The walkie talkie apsect is great. Great reception

I just got rid of Nextel, And I miss it. now I am in a 2 year contract
so I have to wait to go back

I also switched to the ic502 (last week)
Sprint service for the phone calls, Nextell for the 2 way!
Had the i530
|

I have the i530 as well. Horrible reception. I'll have to check out the new phone.

Dumped Nextel because of the lousy reception. Dropped calls were a daily thing. I kept it because the other contractors were using it and the walkie bit was great, but due to no reception on the regular phone it was worth the aggravation. I now find that most of the companies have switched to verizon.  |

The new Nextels, ic402 and ic 502 hit all towers not just Nextell/Cingular. They hit verizons and everyone elses also. Thats the deal with them. Reception so far has been awesome.
