Point Jude Contest Thread
OK, I'll start. Long night last night and a lot of moving around for 1 hit and 1 fish. PJ 1.5 oz wobble head with a peice of a 13" hoggie that was laying around in the basement, oh and alittle bunker oil. Do wobbleheads count or do they have to be on tins? No official weight, released.

One fish up on me too. Feelings of jealousy watching him land it.

Way nice fish ! All of the Point Jude Lures count. I was thinking more of the silver and gold ones but the Wobblehead line certainly has taken it's share of bigguns.
Now....I was NOT thinking about catch and release and no scale when I thought about the contest. So tell ya what I'm gonna do...there will be a prize for the heaviest fish in each category WEIGHED IN , and a prize for the LONGEST FISH in each category for CATCH & RELEASE. Still need a photo with the lure in the mouth but also must have the tape showing how long the fish is too.

thanks joe. i hope i didn't pressure you into anything. i wasn't really thinking about weight and actually winning when I posted. just kind of figured it would get things started. I kept two good fish in the last two weeks (one a personal best and one hooked deep) and didn't really want to keep another.
I've been experimenting with the wobble heads a lately, mixing them in with live eels when there was a decent bite on to build some confidence - mostly with the large Surf Asylum Reel Eels and had good results. Spent some time rigging up some dead eels on the wobble heads today and they swim great - can't wait to put them to use.

Just a little of the fun fron yesterday. Also released. I think it was 5# not big but a nice pic. Wind and waves made it a short day in Nar. Bay. Couldn't get the bones we wanted for pics on the Pt. Jude's.
