5th Annual Lk. Ontario Trip

Me and 3 of my buddies did our 5th trip to Lake Ontario trip out of Oswego NY. Its a great fishery there, and we have done very well every trip. We drove on Friday and when we got there noticed it was pretty windy. We talked to the Capt. and he had cancelled his Friday charters. We agreed to meet up Saturday at 5:30 and hopefully the wind would lay down enough to get out. You can see in the pics what it looked like that morning (inside the bay and at the breakwall). Trip cancelled. but dying was not part of the plan.

Sunday our charter was with the boat we ususally go on and the wind layed down nice, turned out to be a beautiful day. We scored early with some Coho and Kings. Not the size we usually get, but nice anyway. It was a 1/2 day trip and we managed 8 nice fish. Plenty of yummy filets.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
