I live pretty close to East Bridgewater and just took my son apple picking there last weekend. It's kind of a small town feel. Lot's of older homes with newer neighborhoods popping up here and there. Brockton is the nearest big town/city. I work in Providence and it takes me about 35 minutes to my house and another 20 to E. Bridgwater. If you went route 44 all the way from Providence to route 18 in Bridgewater, it would probably be shorter distance, but take longer.

Nice town, 60 minutes tops from Providence. if you use online maps, I like mapquest.com the best for directions. What brings you to the f^&*ing place

Its near Brockton. I agree with Jim , about an hour from you.
You would probably go 95 n to 495 east to 24 n to Exit 16 i think to 106E into east Bridgewater. You could also go 195E to 24 n to 106 E.

The old band is trying to get going again, I really enjoyed it and loved playing out! These were taken in his basement where we are currently practicing once a week..

My last band, was called "Last Exit" we played steady all over rhody for about 3 years and then the guys just went there seperate ways etc...but recently they all got the itch again..This time however we decided it would be all Classic rock and no more Blues, some clubs liked it but overall blues didnt work for the crowd we wanted to play to..Anyway its a ton of fun!

fun is all that matters, whenever I was playing in bands and it was no longer fun, it was time for me to go.
Have a good gig.

Exactly, that does happen in bands, it seems like at the two year mark someone bails or things fall apart..If it isnt fun dont do it! What do you play Jim?

Sounds like a sweet gig!!
I'm the next town over, all the "bridgewaters" (east, west, bridgewater) are nice. A mix of older farm land and newer developments, not jammed on top of each other though.

Elm Street
This town will swallow you up Bill. Elm Street is a right off of North Central. Come up, north, on route 18, and bear left in the center of town. That is do not turn left onto Spring Street, pull into the intersection and bear left onto North Central Street. Follow that for about 3/4 of a mile and turn right onto Elm Street. If you get lost call my cell 508-801-3448 and I come and get you and show you where to go.
