In my face

I guess I ticked off a couple young bucks today, apparently they felt I infringed on their private school of pogies early this morning. A half dozen boats jockying for position to get casting lanes and I'm on the troller motor doing the same and I caught an earfull. No pogies on top, no real visible school, but people were snagging and I'm moving my boat to get into a better position to not be casting over or having people cast over me. Pissed me off that these clowns think I'm putting fish down, when nothing is on top to begin with. When nothing is working on top, I guess they just don't us their depth finder and snag more vertically than ripping and working hard. A second boat got into the mix and I had to chuckle as they struggled to snag, when all you had to do was put your boat over what was a large school and snag more vertically. All they had to do was watch the charters idling locating the school and watch all their clients snagging vertically, but I put the school down. Boston at this time of year definatly takes some balls for sure, but don't get in my face because you can't figure it out.....lol.

Great day, hope it lasts a few more weeks. The only drawback was every time I slipped the boat into neutral, it cranked the starter.....very weird. Luckly I was off the water early enough to get it to G&R marine, he thinks it's the key switch, but he thinks I'll have it for the upcoming weekend. I'm hoping the warm weather predicted will hold the bait for a while. My son and I have been having a ball and the freezer is full of bass for the winter.

Can you believe the weather?

You should see us in action and the looks on the faces of guys like that in those crowds when we set our net in those situations and haul in as many as 4 - 10 dozen at a time depending how thick they are !!!

Snag hooks !!!

Monty, I was the guy up on the bow working the trollling motor on the McKee Craft, you guys pulled in a nice one before I left that crowd. We scored 8 nice bass over by the gut after we left, dragging them shallow where most boats don't venture; one of the advantages of having electric power. We had some vicious blow ups on pogies fished weightless up on top, it was a fun morning.

My morning was far from ruined, I can dish it out when %$%$%$%$ comes my way. All I can say is if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Go soxs....game 7.

Hey Ledgerunner, I thought that was you, I went out again this morning and the pogey were just as thick only the stripers were scarce, plenty of blues though. I thought about going to the gut but its tough to leave fish to go look for fish. I'm only going to leave my boat in for a couple more weeks

Regards.
