A different kind of Hab's Raffle to support

In memory of John, Capt Don and Steve J. have put together an raffle where the money raised will go to World Vision to "adopt" a child. Basically, funds raised should food, clothe, and help school a poor child somewhere. Capt Don has run these before out of his shop and is doing so this time, with permission, in memory of John. They hope to be able to "adopt" two children with this.

For all of those that worked on this

John,

Thanks for posting this. I am involved in this worthy cause in John's behalf via donations of my plugs and a really vintage NIP Habs swimmer.

Slip it is my understanding that this will be ongoing until the adopted children are grown up and able to provide for themselves.

John thanks for posting this. I just spoke with Captain Don and the first raffle is full. He's going to send the tickets to Jessica and she will pick the winner and then it will be announced. Time to get your tickets for the second raffle now!!
