Haven't posted or productively fished lately at all , been involved with other new hobbies & work but would like to share with you folks my recent catch last Veterens day .
Weighing in at 50 lbs , 54" & 34" around caught on a tube & worm at the ledge between B.I. & Montauk L.I. , N.Y. around 5p.m. aboard the Legacy Charter ( out of Galilee ) www.bluebyu.com on a fishing trip with just the Captain Keith Sullivan & myself on a little non charter trip .
I know it's hard to smile when yer hoisting a 50 lb'r....but at least try!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
Been casting at Montauk Point from my pet rocks for hours on end now all Fall... waiting for that fish to come into casting range! (& only catching her kid sisters to 33 lbs...)
Not bad for a "boat" fish! Congrats!
Please tell her mates I don't deal well with being stood- up-- get here soon!
Good catch! First pic looks like you parked far enough away to ask the wife for permission to proceed
