Need a Xmas Gift idea from one of the Daddy's
I was out shopping and had this relevation that I needed to get a gift from my son (16 months) to his Mommy.
I was thinking like a picture frame from Things Remebered or something..I could put one of his recent pix in etc and take another later...
but does any of the other fathers have any ideas?

I think this Christmas I will have my son give his mom a bottle of tequila and a hotel room near some place fun for the night.
The card will read something like "sorry for all those sleepless nights, but how about one more with dad"

what does she do to relax once the big guy is down for the night? maybe get something from him that helps her unwind.
I just asked the wife and she recommended maybe getting a hand-print/cast and have it mounted with "Christmas '07" or something to that effect.
A Professional family portrait might be a nice idea too....

I dont think I blew it last year, but honestly, I dont remeber much about last christmas. I was REALLY sick, I missed most of the day, and most of the time around it was a blur.. I dont even recall what I bought her, never mind what Alex "bought her"
I just want to make sure if I DID blow it, I dont contiue the trend.

There are plenty of those frames out there under 100 bucks, that is a great idea.
I am getting one for my office, the 7 in will fit in here nicely.

I second the Mother's Ring.I had it wrapped in a box in another box in another box etc etc.By the time my wife got to the ring my boys (ages like 3 and 5) were going insane. It was the greatest .She was so touched.A real can't miss idea.

I agree with the sentimental stuff. I've had my son get my wife everything from a Precious Moments figurine like the one in the link, to a really nice frame with a black and white pic of him to a very expensive Tiffany bracelet. She likes the frame and figurine best because they are more sentimental.
