Ledgerunner Baits

I read about the lures on this site a few days ago. I have read numerous posts previously extolling the vitues of this product. I was reluctant to leave my plugging roots. Saturday morning I went over to M&Ds and purchase some of the 13" Ledgerunners.

Today I went to the Canal and on my second cast hooked into a nice linesider. Released the fish. A few casts later I had a nice hit and missed the fish. Whatever it was, it took half the lure with it.

Put a new lure on, cast out and before the lure hit bottom the line started moving up-current. Spent 10 minutes playing with something. Lost the fish about 30 feet from the bank.

I'm sold on these lures. Thanks to all that recommended them.
