tires at atlanta
seems like a lot of drivers were pissed about the tires goodyear brought to the cup race. didn't see the race, but listened and read espn. sounds like there wasn't much passing.
gordon, junior, and stewart who all had good days ripped goodyear for the tires they brought over. espn threw in some quote about edwards who pretty much said that the tires were fine, and people should stop complaining. seemed arrogant to me. he sucks and i have to take his sticker off my truck.

All cars were slipping and sliding all race long. No side by side racing or they would have all wrecked. Made it interesting watching Busch battle the car to the finish, every turn he was doing 2-3 half revolutions on the wheel to keep the car on the track.
Edwards is a tool! He really showed his colors when he faked a swing at his TEAM MATE Kenseth, last year. ANd when he tried to throw one by Varitek in Fenway. I can't stand him.

tony stewart's quotes were great. not only did he say that goodyear sucked, should be embarassed and that every other form of racing doesn't use them because they don't know how to build a race tire; but went on to list competitors like Firestone and Hoosier that could do much better.

Tires certainly had a lot to do with the crappy racing and insanely slow speeds. But the COT as a whole lends to this also,it very hard to drive to begin with and when you pair it with a %$%$%$%$ty tire its all that much harder to drive.
Nascar has much to still work out with the COT this year.
As an aside I had stupid Edwards in the pool.....should be sittin' on a stack before I go see Maiden but no he had to blow up!!!

The tires and COT are not working this year. How many right sides have blown out this year?
WHat purpose is driving a car that sits on the bump stops all the time in the corner, slamming the splitter. My go-kart is better than that.
So what kind of car really won yesterday? it wasn't a Yoyo. it was a FORGEPONYOYAGMAC custom weld jobber thing
