Sptember new moon. Fish are moving and feeding hard for the trek south. A lot of high 40 and 50 lb fish fall every year during that time. This year the last 3 days of Sptember and the first 4 days of October should be red hot.

First week in July - the wind blows a steady southwest, its the beginning of the drought season, the fish are in residence and predicactably located.

Canal... somewhere around the 2nd week of October depending on moon. I would give alot to have a full week to hit west tides at night in October. if I werent a teacher, I would definately shoot to have a long vacation there at that time.

DITTO!!
Yep!! much better if the Sept new is before the 20th,
that is, for us NShore anglers. FEEDBAG fishing
Verrrry interesting that most of these responses seem to
be following the changes in lattitude that morone makes,
after the choice is made between Spring or Fall.
July can be good, too, for avg-sized keepers/table fare.
still, i much prefer the Fall Running Fatties as they make thier
trek south. better opportunities for bigger feesh
