My dad told me in Greece when they got lice as kids my grand parents would use gasoline and rub their scalps with it.

I'd rather stick my hand in a bluefish's mouth than EVER go through nit picking again. That picture made my skin crawl .There's nothing like using your surf lamp and tweezers at midnight on you third kids head when you started at 7

You are so right. It sucks. I heard they used kerosene but my daughter would have none of that. I was at the point I told her I was going to shave her head and put a flea collar on her.

Funny as a kid I shaved my head when I got them at Disney one year.My brother and sister fought the battle much longer than I did.Nasty little creatures.Spread like wildfire.Ahhh the good old days........

ewwww im shivering now, thankfully i never got those and dont remember the chicken pox. Lice look nastier than earwigs all over my pogies.

Anyways, I've yet to get my first striper this year, only made on trip though, but going tot go again if the water heats up later this week

ill never forget the look on my wifes face the night i walked in from work to find every sheet, towel, blanket and pillow we owned in a pile at the bottom of the stairs- after going through that i swore we would never let the kids have friends sleep over again- turned out the kid who introduced them to us was a repeat offender.
