My birthday is Saturday, Fathers day, Sunday. I told my wife all I want is a few days/nights of hard fishing and no guilt trips.

making s-b.com a kinder, gentler place for all

Good luck with that!!
Fortunately I am spending the last 3 weekdays of this week fishing for brookies and browns, awaayyyyyy up in the mtns of Maine.
Before I spend Father's Day weekend, spending 10 hours at a karate tournament and visiting relatives that don't fish.

Belt pack PFD or SOS is on the way. The loss of a friend while rowing out to his boat kind of freaked the family out so......

I member back when we use to jump in my pick up and head down there...we'd run main st. reel slow till a couple of them critters would come out of a bar all huggie grabby and then gun the truck and knock the ell out of them with the side mirror....Then we'd run full circle around the point and come back to giveum ell again...O the good times.

The wife just told me to head to the cape house for the weekend to fish, she said I deserved it. Just wants me back for dinner on Sunday.

Its On!

Now where to head... decisions, decisions.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

2 tanks of gas per month for the rest of the summer?

But that would mean my girls would have to wait another year to attend college...................
