Commercial striper info...

I have a subscription to seafood business magazine because I do some graphics work in that industry. The issue I received today had a little info on the commercial striper biz. ..."only 7 states have commercial striped bass fisheries...whole fish prices are around $6.95 lb. but once season opens July 7 prices should drop...the total 2006 striped bass harvest was estimated at 3.82 million fish, a 46% increase from 2002...the commercial harvest was dominated by Maryland making up 62% of the total landings.

Just thought you might find this interesting.
