Narragansett Question

Dear folks:

Hopefully I can get some input about where to fish this upcoming weekend. I will be staying at Burlingame State park and will be there specifically to target stripers. Does that general area sound good or should i give somewhere new a shot? I have On The Water's book on fishing RI. Any suggestions/comments would be extremely welcome.

Also, I will be arriving around midnight Thursday evening into Friday morning and will start fishing immediately all night. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

That book you got is a good starter, it helped me when i began hitting the surf. And im sure it will give you a lot more info than any of the guys on this site. Most of us here, me included, go to great lenghts to preserve our spots. If you want a good laugh, do a search for spot burn, im sure something will show up. Since you have a few days there spread out and find some new places, the book doesnt scratch the surface of the coast.

Everything is better on the rocks.

I know how people like to keep their favorite dunking hole a secret. Not looking for that much info. I am driving four hours and just want a fighting chance. I have had some decent luck their in the past and just want a great trip with a couple nice linesiders! Thanks again

As a dedicated gansett surf rat, I'll tell you, information is like water from a stone.
Sorry.
general report for decent sized fish is very slow.
head south or west from your campground....

PM sent withs some general info, you are around some good spots near Burlingame. Narragansett is for whiners that dwell in the past.

Hi Bryan! : )
