Son's First Boat Fish
Jacob got to reel in his first boat fish on his Great Uncle's 13' Whaler in the North River yesterday morning. We fished the start of the outgoing drifting sea worms and caught one little guy. Jacob was thrilled when it jumped out of the water a couple of times near the boat. It's funny seeing a 3 1/2 year old reel in a small fish, it makes a rather ho hum fish for an adult seem like a tuna to the child. We fished for another couple of hours and got nada. Here's a pic of the happy angler.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

You know who he'll blame when he's standing on some sandy beach at midnight, casting plugs into the darkeness, bleary eyed 'cause he hasn't slept for days, believing that this turn of the tide will bring the fish in, don't you?
I still credit (blame) my Dad for my fishing addiction to this day!
Great fish!
