This rainbow appeared on Tuesday evening after the storms passed! This one stretched all the way from Nashawena out past the Vineyard! Took these shots from behind the club!

If you guys know Lisa from the Fishing Club I know a few of you have chartered with her husband Russell! He had a blast too! Fishing a weighted sluggo Russell boated this nice one that went about 28 pounds! His smile says it all! He is a great guy and I highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a Cutty charter to go out on Russells boat!

Wasn't there when we were there either.

I can second the recommendation of Russell if you're of a mind to do a local charter while on the island. ChrisL and I had a ball with him, and got into some fish on the reef. Got a local's perspective of certain holes that look very different from a boat too. Very reasonable too!

Glad you guys had fun

I got a tour of the pigs and sow reef today and chummed it with weighted sluggos and ledgerunners and plugs and man those rocks out there are some kind of structure Lost a monster on light tackle down deep elsewhere.

I hope I get back to that torture chamber shoreline someday soon before my body wears out.

It was a good fight! Funny thing is that my 3 biggest bluefish have all been caught on Cuttyhunk and I have only caught 3 there! Its never 2 or 3 or 20 bluefish....its always just one rogue all by itself! My first one there was a 12 pounder! Second one I caught a year ago last fall was just an ounce shy of 17 pounds......and that one you see! They sure grow them big around the Elizabeths!

'll post some pic in few days ,right now I am shot.
By far the best trip I ever took.....not even close. That includes one I couldn't turn and broke my line and two straiten out snaps.
The food and company was out of this world ,have some pictures of incredible dishes that were there.
btw
If someone sees #^&#^&#^&#^& at SW point mumbling about guys walking on water ....it wasn't my fault
lol

only the first night...after I found out that swimming in a wetsuit with that thing was like attaching a lead weight to my neck ,I dropped to Aquskinz single row bag.Better for wet suiting but not really my thing with no flaps to hold the plugs in while I get turned upside down by waves.
btw
nice swells at Cutty last night. It was like boogie boarding without a board
