I got a look at that too so we'll need to see how things pan out. I'm also going to give them a call in a little bit...

Rough seas make jigging that much easier.

Hi John,

If the trip is cancelled tomorrow, do we have any alternate dates set?

The cape cod bay weather forecast on marineweather.com states a gale warning Sunday will likely be needed, so I'd guess it's not going to happen. Figures, today the local ponds are like glass and I slept late. Should have followed my gut and hooked up the boat last night to get out early today. Hindsight is 20/20, still got a few hours thou, now that my taxi service for the boys is done might head out to try some freshwater basses.

Kippy - tomorrow is the last day that this boat runs until March...

I've seen the same thing - potential Gale tomorrow - possible 6-12 footers (small marrgin, eh?) 25-35 knot winds... Waiting for an update marine forecast though...

John I just checked out the website and saw that they stopped running tomorrow. Are there any other boats that run later? Possibly the Yankee Fleet or Helen-H? I would like to reschedule the trip on another boat if there is any interest.

I know a boat that runs all winter long, it's called the ss got stripers . Only problem is it won't go too far out and it won't hold more than 3 jiggers at a time. Still if there are some cod experts that don't mind sharing a few winter spots with me, I'm itching to get out over the winter. I don't mind trailering to launch out of quincy/weymouth, scituate or plymouth.
