Hey, How Come Old People Are Grumpy, Anyway?

It's almost official for me - I'm hitting the Six Oh-oh in January and I'm just trying to figure it out.

I'm thinking it's because when you reach a certain point in age you've heard almost every load of BS that's come down the pike and you don't want to sit around while someone tries to insult your intelligence - that's my theory anyway.

I spend one day a week with my uncle on the Italian side who's 96 - and he's still as sharp as a 20 year old mentally. It's unbelievable. The guy remembers WW I as a child, Prohibition,etc first-hand - and he's funny as hell.

I was trying to tell him something the other day and he told me "For Chrissakes, you kids don't know a goddammed thing" - oh man, I couldn't stop laughing

Boy, I sure hope I've got his genes from that side of the family - I just saw two guys I knew pretty well who were my age in the Irish funny pages - dudes, it's scary

So what do ya figure - do we get to look forward to getting even grumpier than we already are?

It has been scientifically proven that there is a mathematical formula.. Age x last time you had sex = grumpy factor.

It should be more like this:

AGE X LAST TIME YOU "HAD" SEX
_________________________ = GRUMPAGE

HOW OFTEN YOU "WANT" SEX

Pissa! Now my coffee is in the keyboard!
