Thanks for reminding me about those gnarly little bastages, Rav. I think.

Looks like this winter mother nature is providing her own version of squirrel control.
Not a single hickory or acorn on any of my trees.

They got every one of my peaches this year. Tree's coming down.

when i was a young kid... heavy into bird watchin and observing squirrels i noticed that they were eating the spring maple tree buds when they got sweet ....later the trees looked like hell....kinda shredded even, and my Dad asked me...what was causing it. I said the squirrels are eating the tips.

Ya that would do it Salty, and put me behind bars for the rest of my life.

Friend of mine got caught shooting squirrels with 22 shorts in town that were tearing shingles off his house.

Arrested, court case, $1,000 fine but worst they took all his guns away from him.

Then on top of that the SPCA wanted to press charges too, cuelty to animals but the county said no.
