nice catch
a buddy sent me these pix. the story is this little guy was 1.5 miles from shore in california during the wildfires. he was glad to get on the boat and released back on dry land.

Nice story. Pre-coyote days we often would run in to them swimming in Vineyard Sound.

i used to watch coyotes swim across from sunset point to worlds end on a regular basis. one time the current brought them pretty close to the boat.

I have seen 2 deer over the years swim from the spit to 4th cliff in the river......very cool to see, and boy they are great swimmers..

A buddy of mine shot one on some land near the canal last year. It swam across the canal and the core of engineres had to push it to the other side where they drove across and got it.

Judging by the way the deer is tied, those two guys must be cowboys from a rodeo. Great job! Glad they didn't get kicked. Love the T-shirt. U.S.M.C. always on duty.
